I live in a beuraucratic city, and what a beauracratic day it is...
Had to listen to a customer's complain about how beauraucratic it is for a foreigner to open a personal bank account this morning. No prize for guessing who have to come to his rescue...
Later, made a trip to the authority's office to get some licensing job for another client. Its a nice new office but sadly mentality of the folks there still unchanged - had to go ups and downs few times meeting few personnel (one of them with that "show me the money" kind of gesture, sigh...) to get the relevance clearance.
Was really glad when the chore was over, only to realised later on when I was back to the office that there's typo-error in one of the document. No choice, I had to make another trip there just to get the initial and official stamp of the officer....
So beuracratic indeed. I guess I'll never like dealing with the authority and counter staff, and I hate to think that those are the folks who'll get Saturday off from this weekend onwards
